Facebook Wall Post Spam images of Porn, Nudity and Violence


Some members of the social network are complaining about violent and/or pornographic pictures showing up in their News Feeds without their knowledge that they have allegedly Liked. Others are being told by their friends that they are sending requests to click on links to videos, sending out bogus chat messages, or writing mass messages and tagged photos leading people to believe they are in the link.

Despite the lack of certainty from Facebook itself, it seems likely that the spam is caused by the now all-too-familiar clickjacking apps that have plagued the platform for years. The apps function on a promise. Like the page to reveal the latest celebrity mishap, or see the moment a dictator was captured. which lures people in without thinking about what permissions they might be providing and to whom.
